Koralia Powerheads and Controller Question
Can you use these powerheads on a controller of any kind?
Im thinking of using one on a SEIO Controller, or a natural Wave timer.... Are there any reported problems with using them on wavemakers like the SEIO's? How long would they last? How is the powerheads life affected? Thanks.

I don't have my sources at hand, but I recall the instructions with the Koralia state that they should not be used with on/off timers, which is what I believe the natural wave timer is.
I thought I read in a post that the manufacturer said they are fine with the SEIO controller since it doesn't stop the pump but regulates the voltage or whatever and slows the pump down. I also recall reading a post that they are in the process of developing a controller for the Koralias. FWIW. I think if you use them with on/off controllers it will shorten their lifespan. |

Also if you turn them on and off they don't start back up all the time and you have to tap them to get them going. I have 6 of the 4's.
