Calcium at 100 help please
Ok I know what I did wrong so how do I get my Calcium up? Does anyone know how much Reef Complete I can add safely at one time?

What test kit are you using? If you are keeping up on your water changes I doubt you have a calcium level of 100. I know you don't have any SPS either because they wouldn't live with 100 calcium, so your uptake wouldn't be much at all.

Hagens test kit. I do water changes every week, but I have lost a cleaner shrimp, the other one doesn't look too good and I have also lost a conch

What is your water change water reading at in Ca and Alk? The simplest method is to accelerate water changes. You can also dose straight Ca via a liquid, but not too quickly.

None of those deaths would be related to low calcium levels. It is corals that suffer first when calcium drops too low. I too suspect a faulty test. Can you get a second opinion?

Doesn't always mean they use good test kits either. I would invest in a salifert test kit. I believe the calcium test kits runs around $22
