MH Time on Tank

What is the average time my 3 250watt MH should be on my 210 gallon tank?

8 hours IMO, especially if you have some other form of light for actinic supplement (VHO, T5, PC's, etc).

The most important aspect IMO is that the lights be one during the most likely time the tank will be viewed. IME a viewed tank is a happy tank. It gets more care, more attention, and you get more satisfaction out of it.
