Mistake
I think i may have messed up. I bought 3 little blue chromis and have a 30. I know you are supposed to do research before buying a fish but they looked cool and were cheap. but the problem is that I am getting a YWG and didn't think about it but will they be compatible. And i think i might be pushing the limit i already have a pair of cinnamon clowns. the one is about 3 and a half inches long and the other is 2 and a half and the chromis are only like 2 inches if you line them all up. so will that plus a YWG be to much for the tank.

yeah i think that might be a little to many for a 30 gallon. i was thinkin of getting a few chromis myself, they are really compatible with most fish and clowns get along fine with ywg's but i think what you need is a bigger tank my friend

oh darn, it looks like it's time for you to buy a bigger tank! that gives me a great idea, i think i am going to go out and buy more fish, because then i will be FORCED by no choice of my own, to buy that 250 gallon i have been admiring in the fishstore...
seriously though, it's a great excuse to upgrade the size of your tank and i dont know what a YWG stand for, but yes, you have too much load for a 30 gallon. If they are not compatible, you could probably take the chromis back to the store. Just explain the situation to them, they will take them back...

thats what i was thinking would happen. I will just see if my friend will take them or if the store will take them back because i would rather have the clowns and the goby over the chromis.

the YWG is pretty tiny and i really dont think it will make that great of an impact on your bioload. the problem is the chromis do get large and you will definitely need a larger tank down the road. in the mean time i believe your good where you are.

Are they as hard to catch as a domino. Because i cycled my tank with them and 2 of the 3 died and i finally got the third out of there but it involved taking everything out of the tank.

Hi,
You will be fine...just keep an eye on water parameter...do some larger and more frequent water changes. Don't even think about buying more fish, till larger tank in place.

Well there is only two of them now. I walked in little bit ago to feed the fish and one of them chromis was being eating by about 5 hermit crabs and a starfish so i will have to say it must have been sick or something to be caught by a hermit crab. So i will have to get rid of them because i have read that there should be 3 or more or they wont survive and i don't want my tank water messed up.
