How much more water flow do I need.

I have a Aquaclear 30 powerhead on a 30 gallon long tank. Thinking about buying another one today. What size should i look at?

IMHO you should always be looking to get more flow for your tank, the more the better.

How much flow does a aquaclear 30 put out?

I would suggest a MJ1200 its very reliable

I have a new Oceanic BioCube 29 gallon and the standard pump cycles 240 gallons per hour. I have heard a lot of good things about the MaxiJet 900 and 1200. Is there a such thing as too much water circulation or current for certain livestock?

yes, your flow should set to what livestock your looking to keep. some corals and fish are only able to live in slow currents, and the current required to keep to keep other corals alive would rip them to pieces.

What tpye of a tank are you going for? A fowlr or a Reef? Adding a simple powerhead such as a mexi-jet would work, or if you have the cash, get one or two of the new Tunze nano streams. I use two of the 9045 in my 37 gallon tank and it's a perfect amount of flow for a reef or a fowlr.

Well it's mostly a fowlr right now with one coral, but i will be adding more as time goes.. do you think if i added an aquaclear 10, i would be better off?
