what are these?

Anybody have a clue as to what these are?
They are flakey, redish orange in color. They are on my glass and all over the rocks. They are tiny.

many thanks

They look like flat worms (a pest).

they come out to catch rays. they eat some microcritters and if they get out of control, they can be toxic to a system.

tend to cause more problems in tanks with substrate vs BB's

regular siphoning if they are getting a little too plentiful usually can keep them in check, but you might have to do a FW treatment if they get out of control.

I have had a token population in my BB system forever, but there really isn't a whole lot for them to eat, and they don't dig the wicked currents much either, so they manage to hang on in a few quiet corners of the rockwork, but that's it.

Suck out as many as you can and treat the tank with flatworm exit.
