zoos on overflows and back of tank
I've seen some awesome tanks that have many types of zoos growing on the back glass and overflows. How do you get them there? Do people just put the original rock colony next to the glass until they grow on or is there another technique?
Haven't fragged zoos yet so I'm not sure what they can tolerate. |

Frag and glue them there. Supergle Gel works well. Zoo's are pretty hardy and can take alot IME.
Sometimes they will just grow there on thee own if your patient and place the orginal colony next to the wall. IME GSP will also grow onto the sides of the tank pretty easily. JME, HTH

Are you referring to just refular superglue gel I can get at a retail store? Will it actually work underwater or do both the surfaces have to be dry?

no, you can do it in the water...it's weird, but it works and eventually it gets covered in coraline just like everything else.

Thanks. I'll give it a try as soon as I get my phosphate situation under control.

When applying the glue under water... put alot on and kinda of stick it on and then pull it off an inch or so a few times until it starts to get tacky like gum. Then apply a little pressure for a minute or so. And, the applicator for lock tite brand is good.

they will probably spread out on the glass easier if the glass has coraline on it. natural surface. xenia also grows on side glass easily
