Tank Transfer Question

I am setting up a new 40G tank and would like to transfer my live rock, corals, inverts, and fish to the new tank from my two nanos. I will be putting in 60lbs of new live sand. Will that cause it to cycle? How do you guys typically do your tank transfers to new tanks when you upgrade. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you can I would let it cycle, but if not I have done it tank to tank. It did go through a mini cycle, but I didnt lose anything. It mainly depends on what livestoct that you have, and how hardy they are. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I think I will buy a little bit more new cured live rock and transfer 1/2 to 3/4 of my rock to the new tank and let it run for a week or two. Then transfer the rest of my rock and livestock.

Thanks again
