Talking WOW, I'm a God Parent

Over the past month, I have found at least three egg sacks from my Cowrie Snails.

I also noticed that the snails stay with their eggs until hatched. Does anyone know how long the incubation period is? I would have never known that the snails were protecting there young if I had not accidentally knocked a snail from its parental duty one day (much to the delight of my cleaner shrimp).

Here are some pictures of another egg sack that I took after I accidently hit the snail while cleaning the glass. Don't worry, the snail was able to climb the glass from the bottom of the tank and get back onto her eggs.

Thanks

Wow that's really neat - do you know if they were fertilized?

I don't know if they were fertilized or not. The snail won't leave them though. I've had three snails so for lay eggs. I should have figured something was up when the snails did not move for a couple of weeks.

Assuming they were fertilized, anyone know how long the eggs take to hatch?
