the light is a 24" Current Orbit power compact w/ 65watt 10000k daylight and 6700k actinic. if used on 20 gallon tank what can i reasonable expect to thrive coral wise? how many hours per day should lights be on? i have an emperor 400 and 2 small powerheads w/ a nano skimmer. thats for any and all input

Why not the 24" Sunpod with one 150w DE MH. You could keep anything. 6-8 hr pp.

Are you saying the hood has one 65W bulb or two? If it's just one then I'd consider it low-light and you can probably keep mushrooms, zoanthids, soft corals, and maybe LPS.
If it's two bulbs then you should be able to keep most things except higher-light SPS and clams. |
