Clean up Crew
I have a 120 gal tank and need some advice about a clean-up crew. I need to know what to buy and where?
Thanks,

I'd probably start with a perhaps 6-9 Trochus, 6-9 cerith, and 12 Stomatella snails. If there's a decent local supply, snails can be added on an as-needed basis.

I have looked there but am concern that if I buy everything that is reccomended that I may overload my tank. It has only been up for about a month.

Those packages are generally far too large, so the animals tend to starve over time. The Trochus and Stomatella snails can reproduce in our tanks (especially the Stomatella), so that's useful in building a reasonable snail population.

I just ordered a clean-up crew from G.A.R.F. I have about 110 gallons and I went with there 30 gallon crew. 30 snails - 15 crabs. They sell those for $1/critter and they are gauranteed. the crabs and snails at the LFS ussually cost me about $3.00.
