Question Caribean or Fuji or both?

I can load my aquarium up with more rock and less money with Caribean rock that I can with Fuji. I was thinking of getting 35lbs of "base" Fuji and top it off with 45lb Caribean. What is everyones opinion on Caribean rock overall?

The caribbean rock is quite a bit more dense and less porous than Fiji. That 35# of the Fiji will be "more" rock than the 45# of the other stuff.

Sabunim: I got caribean fron Dr. F&S 60 lbs. . Not good stuff, so I used it as base rock for my 75 gal. reef tank. I got a box 44 lbs. of walt smith fiji. Much nicer . I also picked up a few lbs. from lfs. Looks nice if you ask me what I know about caribean I`d say not that good.

personal preference, but I like "bioscope" tanks that mimic a particular reef environment, so I'm inclined to tell you to go with one or the other, and then stock your tank with corals and fish from the particular region you choose. But that's just me.

I have 50 lbs of carribean rock from Live rock and more. Interesting shapes as its all lettuce leaf corals. Not much in the way of hitchikers and not very porous, but I've got arches with holes, caves and the fish love all the nooks and crannies.
