aquapod 12g lighting

i have a problem with my lights. i have to tap my hood for them to turn on and when they do turn on my fan makes a really loud buzzing sound for about 1 min before it stops? is this normal?

I had the same problem with my fan. I have had my 12g aqua pod for 5 months and i am on third fan. I dont know whawt the problem is with your lights. I didnt have that problem. Its easy to take a part and check it out. If i can do it anyone can
