Pyramidellidae snails

It was mentioned in this thread that intercepter can kill some species of snails:

I was wondering if anyone might happen to know if it has any effect on Pyramidellidae snails. I have a species of them in my tank that feed on astrea snails. They do not show any interest in my 3 clams, however I have lost several dozen snails. I have tryed manual removal with little success. Has anyone else encountered a species such as this?
