I just logged in and it worked. Maybe it only lets one person in at a time.

Hey thanks! Glad to see it works, The cam is a DCS-950G.. My tank is an 80 Gal Bow front, with a bunch of the regulars.. softies, and some Hard stuff. Tangs rang from Unicorn to Sailfin, with all the norms in between, Same with Clowns. Thanks again for looking.

BTW in the works right now is a site simular to youtube where you can post vids or link streams of your reef. What do you all think will this be a good idea? Im not using it as a money ploy, just luv seeing the unique reefs out there.

Just switched it to 640 x 480 it should let more than one person in at a time. I only have a 49K upstream bandwidth. I am calling tomorrow for more and a static IP.

I think this might be IE only. Maybe that's causing some issues?

Did you guys install the D-link viewer?
It pops up an install thing in explorer at the top when you hit the login page the first time..
Once installed no problems...

Can you talk us through the setup? Any pics? I have tons of server space and 3 TB of extra bandwidth a month. I'd love to do this to my tank.

Oh man the setup is super easy, The cam has its own built in web server so you connect directly to it. One nice thing is that it has wireless as an option. Even at wireless G it can skip some. On the wire it works great! Dlink makes it really easy to use. Just plug in the camera to your current router. install the setup software on your computer, and it finds your camera, askes you some questions and its done. nothing really to it. Now I have standard cable internet so my upload isnt that great. I am calling my ISP today.

Oh and one thing about the camera i am using. ( DCS-950G) it has an audio function that i cant disable. I have my wife and 2 year old son running around the house and She wasnt to keen on the idea of her conversations being spread on the web. =)
