Wow that sounds like a good deal. Just make sure everything with the tank/stand/canopy is okay. No cracks, leakage etc etc.

Does it come with the rock as well? You might need to upgrade the lights, but that sounds like a steal. I'd also consider using new sand if it's been set up a while.

I am just debating becaue I like my stand and all for my 55 better but I like the fact that this tank is bigger, what do you guys think??? The new one doesnt come with the rock, but I have mine and just want to convert the sand and rock over to mine.
This is mine right now (55g) THis is the one I am looking at??? Hmmmm?? |

Your stand on your 55g is hands down better looking IMO, But your getting a bigger tank and everything needed.. So its a good deal if you want to upgrade..if you do are you selling your 55g?

Yeah, I will sell it but don't know really what my set up would go for??? Is it hard to refinish a stand and canopy?

The guy gave me an option to actually buy each peice individually so that if i didnt want what came with it, I could buy from outside of himand only purchase the stand, canopy and tank....hmmmm He only had PC lights and a little giant pump with a fairly large protien skimmer with sock filtration...not sure how good of a setup this is, but i cant stop thinking about it, but just not crazy about the stand and canopy when i look at mine...i wonder if i could alter mine to fit it?

If you sold the just stand, tank and canopy? Probably $350-450.

Thats a pretty good price. If you don't like the stand, see what he will sell the tank for. You might be able to find a better stand on the internet somewhere. Or refinish it. But it sounds like a good deal.
