At what point on the TDS meter....

do you change your filter material on your RO unit? Just wondering.....

Remember when it was at dead ZERO, now about 4 or 5. Seems like nothing, but has me wondering.

Your prefilters don't affect tds levels, so think only about your membrane and DI resin.

When membranes go bad you'll see a reduction in the amount of purified water they produce, or an increase in the tds of your RO water.

Replace your DI resin when the DI water climbs to about 2 or 3 ppm.
