need advise, in a bind

I am going with about a 100 gallon acrylic tank but I am having trouble figuring out the stand. If I buy one I virtually have no room to put my 80 gallon acrylic sump which measures 60x18x18"i think" I am sure on the 60 inches which happens to be the same length as the 100 gallon. I need some help. Where can I find a stand which would allow for my problem or should I head the the DIY forum to build my own which I really want to reframe from doing unless it's easier then I think.

I think the DIY forum is your best bet. A custom stand of some sort is probably your only solution. That's a large sump.

Large fuge, i have a 50 I can use, I'll check with the DIY as well. Maybe a steal stand but I want it to look half way decent as well though.

I know you aren't me, but if I were you I will use the 80 gal as the second tank, reef #2 or FO. I'd go get a 30 gal sump for the 100 gal.

Or just sell the 80 Gal.

Some people say a large sump add stability. Yes in theory, but the difference between 130 and 180 is not much. With sound practice a 130 is as stable as a 180.

Just found this, would this work with a touch of plywood under both tanks?

wooden_reefer, you just changed my views on like everything, thanks! I thought I was doing good with bigger the sump, "it was originally for my 240g tank but I am on a second story which can't handle it. I'll go with a regular sized then, thanks
