Size of an Alcyonium

In my book (Marine Inverts by Shimek), it is stated that the maximum size for a Colt Coral (Alcyonium) is about 15cm...

However mine is at least 30cm high.

Why this huge discrepancy?

Your wrong, their wrong, people make mistakes, no one has seen EVERY colt coral so its just an average...take yor pick..
