Ok well those pictures are gross. I hate aptasia. I though it was some kind of usual nice hitchhiker when I first saw it, so I didn't do anything about it. Then I decided to look up some stuff on aptasia, seening they were propagating everywhere, on the glass, sand, rocks, pumps. I saw a few pictures and said "ah crap."
I though mine was bad, which it was with some over the size of a quarter, but not as bad as some of those pics. I've gotten most of the big ones with lemon juice. I'll try to get pics of mine, but a cell phone probably won't work well. |

I got one on a ball of Chaetomorpha a few weeks ago. Then I noticed a second one in my refugium. When I saw a 3rd and 4th, I got my scraper and turkey baster out and got down to business. I believe I'm aiptasia free again. Those things multiply fast!
