eletric bill
im starting to upgrade my tank new pumps uv added better lights skimmer, how much have people eletric bill gone up???i am using 3600gph pump also belive 360watts?wandering how much tank is gonna cost to run 200 gallon tank with sump in basement 15' below tank.

Im not sure how much it will jump, I just wanted to tell you that there are a lot of ways to offset the cost. We changed every light in our house to compact flourecents. We use 9 watts in each socket which is the same as a normal 40 watt bulb. Also, turn your waterheater down. we turned ours down 10 degrees and it saves about 6 bucks a month. change the filter on your furnace regularly. there are a lot of ways to cut a few bucks here and there. If you check with you utility provider, they normally have an extensive list of how to cut costs.
