Trumpet coral vomit

Hi one question.

Some tome my trumpet coral spits some air bubbl like stuff out of him, is he just using the bathroom?

is it brown and nasty looking gunk? He may just be expelling zooanthellae, which is normal for many lps. I had a froggie awhile back that would do this daily.
