light mounting question

I'm mounting up my lumenarcs on a light rack and wanted to know if I should mount the center one lower because of the center glass support?

I think as long as you keep the glass clean it shouldn't be an issue. How long is the tank and how many lumenarcs are you running?

the tank is 6ft long and 3 Lumenarcs

From what I have read Lumenarcs can cover up to 3', so if the middle one is blocked a little it wouldn't be a big deal. So, I would just mount the middle one the same height as the others. JMO

Also would it make a difference whether the mogul bulbs are horizontal or vertical with the tank?

I think since the Luminarcs are square it wouldn't matter; they should have equal distribution either way.
