kind of funny; emerald riding my turbo
I guess this is the reef mass-transit?
Grass, Gas, or A$$, nobody rides for free (he dumps him in turn 4) Now that I roped you into reading my post...is what you are seeing "red slime" algae? I am seeing some green astro-turf coming through but the majority is red stringy hairy slimey type. Will this go away on its own? Should I reinforce the CUC?

cuc wont do anything. The lfs will just try to sell you chemicals. A cheap and easy way to get rid of it is to get a turkey baster and blow it off of whatever its on. do a few 15% water changes and let the skimmer do its job, also make sure you are getting adequate flow. red slime (cyno-bacteria) is a sign of high nitrates.
