It reads that it can be used in potable water applications. So I would say that it is safe. I used a similar product in the construction of an RO/DI top off system and nothing in my reef seems unhappy.

I can imagine if you introduced the glue uncured into your water system it would probably be bad but once cured all should be ok.

It's fine, but be sure to get a bottle of the primer also. You want to coat the pipe with primer followed by the glue.
