temp swing?

how many degrees are ok for a day/night swing?

I've found it alot easier after the aquacontroller jr... it used to swing almost 6 degrees now it's stays within +/- 1 as far as how bad it is, I was gone for a week and the temp crept up to 84 and I lost all my leathers...

Ditto michaeljames... I use an Aqua Logic Temp. Controller for a fan over my sump. My water stays at +/- 2 degrees.

I doubt it was the 84 that caused you to lose your leathers. Mine seem to do fine.

I agree that 4-5 temp swings should be okay.

Temp is the only thing I could think of, all the levels were perfect, All the SPS and livestock made it, only lost the "softies" and they were well spread out and had done fine for over a year and a half..
