I have.

I have a 24watt on my 3gal pico reef. It works great for what I use it for. I can't be sure about the other models. I would say you generally get what you pay for, although this light is doing it's job great. I would stick with the proven systems on larger light needs.

I suggest posting what you want you light to do and how big it must be and you will get many suggestions especially if you ask the equiptment forum.

I also made the mistake of buying an odyssea light about a year ago. It almost caught on fire in march because the wiring frayed, shorted, and burnt out the ballast. They sent me two ballasts to replace the one that was in it. When it came time to change bulbs, I just upgraded to an Aquactinics fixture which also gives me great flexibility on stocking. I wish I would have saved myself the time, energy and money, and just got the better fixture in the first place. You'll make excuses now why to buy the cheap, but after you are always going to the lfs and seeing the pretty corals, you will want them. And you'll need the better fixture.

Sorry tangent/venting.

I may have gotten a little off on a tangent earlier(Sorry). I like my catfish light, not my odyssea. If the catfish light is affordable and you want pc it may be a good choice.

I would also consider the Current Nova Extreme with moon lights(in same ball park price range). The fixture is t-5 with a single reflector and maybe a hair better. Also many more quality bulb choices. Oh and the bulbs are cheaper, run cooler, and have to be replaced about half as often. For the money my choice instead of pc.
