Microbubbles

I put in a nano skimmer last night into the 2nd chamber in my BC and cant seem to get rid of the microbubbles, any suggestions? and are they bad for the stuff in the tank?

Give it a while to break in, then see if the bubbles go away.

It could take up to a week for a slime coat to form over the inside of the skimmer thus reducing bubbles. If it's the nano fission skimmer you may end up tossing it out of the window.

yeah its the nano fission skimmer, is it really that bad

Well there are certainly better alternatives out there... I have never heard anything good about this skimmer but you may have better luck.

i just returned one, I hated it. Not much skim and a lot of bubbles
