phos reactor

Ok I'm going to buy a phos reactor and I was going to use phosban media in it but they say it blows apart with to much water pressure. is this not a good media to use? what kind of pump should I use ? And is there a better media to use?
Thanks for any help!

I run two reactors with 1 pump, its a low cost 100 gph pump.

I use bulk media from two part solutions,

ferric oxide (phosphate remover)

and carbon
