CoralVue dimmable ballasts
Hi
I have been wondering about the CoralVue ballasts. I have some, and they are excellent. However, as there is only a very small price difference between the dimmable and non-dimmable ballasts, I was wondering why people would choose to buy the ‘non-dimmable’ version, rather than just buying the dimmable ones, even if they never adjust them. Is there another explanation why people may buy the ‘non-dimmable’ ones? Thanks |

never heard of one being chosen over the other. The ballasts is ok from what I have seen.

I beleive the dimming is by manual control. I dont know this for a fact, just through what Ive read. Why dim if you have to sit there and turn a knob to do so? If it were dimmable a la the Ice cap 660, then it might be worth while.
