Permeate Pump RO/DI filter? or booster pump?

I have prety low water pressure (45psi) and my ro/di unit doesnt make a whole lot of water per day. That might also be because i have well water too. I have this unit here . I saw this pump: Here

Or would i need a booster pump like this one: here

I dont have a tds meter yet so i dont know how efficient it is yet. im ordering one today

you want to get a booster pump. Also, depending on your setup, you might need a pressure-solenoid. That goes between the pump and your sediment filter.

Talk to Russ at www.buckeyefieldsuipply.com local to you there in Ohio. He can get you set up with better quality merchandise then the e-bay stuff. Some things on e-bay are fine but not RO systems and components.

Since when I replied, I had not checked your links, I must address something. The unit you show come with the solenoid, but I wouldn't get that unit. For a similar price, you can get a booster pump made by Aquatec, I reccomend the CDP8800. You will need to shop for it though to get that price. Most places sell it for double. Or you can find it at the above mentioned store, albeit a little more $$, allthough the link won't take you there.

EDIT : also , I got almost all my r/o supplies from a specific retailer that sells it's items on Ebay as well as their own site. I purchased mine from their Ebay store as it save me considerably over some other vendors. It was not the cheapest system on Ebay, and it does't perform like them. I have very sensitive and accurately calibrated ec meters that read in percents of microseimens to tell me so. It is not that good components CAN'T be found on Ebay, as implied in the post above mine, but that, by and large, most Ebay sellers have junk. You will hear many people on this board state with quite certainty that all Ebay R/O is crap when that simply isn't true.
