Alternative pump ASM G2 Sedra 3500?

My Sedra pump just froze up on me on my skimmer. Are there better pumps to run on these skimmers? I'll have to figure it out quick as I need to have this up and running again asap! Thanks for the help!

Did you take the pump apart to see if a snail or something got caught in the impeller and locked it up?

Yeah, took it apart already. Nothing blocking it. It's like the impeller expanded or something, the magnet barely even fits in the pump anymore, i have to force it in and then there's no way it's going to spin. Darn!
