AA review of AI LED
maybe i missed it but i haven't seen anyone talk about the review of the Aqua llumination's LED how does this thing stack up to the PFO's Solaris LED ? is this another case of pitting a crappy MH bulb, reflector, ballast combo against an LED? if you have the cash for one of these LED's would you really also be looking at spider reflectors and coralife ballasts?

Thanks for the link. Now I just need the price of these to get cut in half!

I just got mine the other day. Loving it so far. Haven't written much about it yet, still fascinated watching the sunrise and sunset modes.
Initial impressions tho, very well built, quality materials, very bright, easy to use, near silent, stays cool, did i mention very bright? |

that is a good article and shows that LED technology has come a long ways in a very short time! now we all get to wait for the prices to become competitive with traditional lighting.

Remember that the PFO Solaris review linked is very outdated. They have upgraded the LED power two times since that review. The new one is about 60% stronger. I would like to see an AI in person to compare.
