which skimmer?
im limited with space in my sump for the skimmer .... ive got 28" of clearance but the water level is at 16" so after raising the skimmer i dont have much space
its between the aquaC EV 180 or the tunze DOC 9010 ... the tunze seems like it would work better only cause it so small and can run in such deep water but let me know or if you know of any other skimmer under $350 that would work in my current setup |

I don't know the Tunze that well. But, I did used to have an in sump EV 120 under the tank and it was a major PITA to empty and clean in cramped quaters.

My wife and I both run the Tunze 9010, hers is a 120 mostly LPS and my a 75 sps both heave stocked. Best skimmers we have used, very easy to clean and put in small places.

I've had good results with my ASM G-3. Depending on your sump size it may be under rated though.

asm g3 wouldnt work because of the water depth/ cabinet space... so it looks like the tunze is in the lead?

My Deltec 1250 Turbo Rocks!...I think it is 23" high but it will handle tanks between 150-180 gallons.
