V shape PC lighting?
can anyone tell me why I should not do this?
I'm putting 3 bulbs in a canopy. 2 are 55w PC's and 1 is a 175w 14k MH. I was thinking about doing the 2 PC's in a slight V shape in one reflector so I can have just a little bit more space between the bulbs. If it helps at all one is a 50/50+03 and the other is a 10k or I can use 2 50/50+03's anyone foresee issues? |

Have you looked into the PFO parallel reflectors?

It should not matter much... but are you dead set on using the PC bulbs? You would be much better off with (2) T5s with SLR reflectors.

Right, but I thought you were looking for a convenient way to fit it all and have more space between the pc's? Sorry if I misunderstood you.

I'm really trying for space...I have 3 reflectors I can use, but I'd like to do it with two (if I can) that's why I thought maybe a slight V but I'm not sure if it will waste more light then it's worth. |
