Green Chromis Missing!!!!!!!!!!!

i put 2 green chromises in my tank 3 days ago and today one was gone. when i say gone i mean disapeared off the face of the earth. i looked everywere and he was nowere to be found, ive been watching my cleanup crew to see if they would gather round him if he were dead, but nothing not even from my 2 porcilyne crabs(i know terrible spelling). and when my tank crashed in the early stages my gobie,b&w clown, and damsel died all the crabs, snails were gathered around them. but now nothing what should i do? i dont really want to take my rock apart. oh yea i did look on the floor around the tank and behind the tank to.

If he's alive great. If he's dead leave it aint that big a deal. The pair should eat, sleep, and sh** together.

Lots of stories about problems with chromis...Ya hear lots of people relating how their 9 went to 7 to 4 to 2 to 1. I've only got one so I have no such stories, but to answer your question....he could be hiding or dead. If he's dead don;'t worry too much about getting him out. If ya' see 'em then yank him out but otherwise don't worry about it much

thats weird we should start a lost chromis club. i wonder why we dont find the bodei of a chromis but 99% of the time we can find the bodie of almost every other fish out there.

I almost never recover small fish. The crabs and starfish make them a meal I believe.

When i first got my Yellow tailed Blue Damsel He "Disappeared" on me for about 2 days only to find out he was hiding in a Hole in my live rock i wouldn't worry too much if he died chances are he has been eaten already and you just missed it but i would almost bet he is just hiding.

He may still be scared. They can change color to match their surroundings when scared, so may just be hiding in a hole in the rock. Keep an eye out, he may still be there.
