acclimation
Why is it important to discard the water after acclimation? I searched around and couldn't really find a specific reason. I read it on swf or somehwere

because the water from the LFS that they put in the bag could contain copper and such that you don't want in your tank.

so you dont add the water from another tank to yours, passing desease or chemicals to your tank
