refugium
so the rio 400 for my cpr hangon refugium broke and i ended up taking an extra maxijet 1200 wrapping the output with some thread tape and it fit nice and snug and works fine as the pump, but its A LITTLE too powerful....it maintains a waterlevel so its not over flowing but the waterlevel is higher in the refugium then it was with the rio and the little overflow area is not overflowing as much as it did before....but like i said it maintains a constant level, is this safe or should i turn this thing off?? also what are some ways i can cut the movement down so that it runs slower???? any help would be great
