I feed mine mysis, cyclopeeze, and formula 1 pellets with garlic and they go nuts for all of it.

Varied diets are always better for your fish.
It wouldn't hurt to get all of them and rotate the feeding. You may get away with only 1 or 2, but like I said, the more types of food, the better. It has a better chance of providing all the essential nutrients for the fish. Lots of people make their own homemade fish foods as well from frozen seafood. If you do a bit of research, you can find em pretty easily. Tim

I alternate between frozen "marine cuisine" and Formula One flake. Variety between two or three food sources is good. If you add more fish later, this may require you to increase your variety.

I use all frozen...my clown eats mysis, formula 1 & 2, marine supreme, super shrimp, cyclops, and brine shrimp plus. I heard that flake food has more...phosphates or something...but...not sure about that and probably only really a problem if overfeeding...maybe. My clown eats everything...but frozen food is a pain sometimes - gotta rinse the shrimp...the gel-binder stuff has to be thawed and then cut into small pieces (and then rinsed in my opinion)...marine supreme turns into soup if you thaw it in water...
I might try one of those home-made recipes...
