buying chaeto

where can i get some chaeto for my fuge? i don't find much when i google it

I would create a thread in one of your local forums and see if someone will hook you up. I think most people that have it is willing to share.

i don't know how much i need...setting up a small (2.5 gallon) fuge with live sand, chaeto, maybe a mangrove or two...i would happily pay for shipping if we can get it here alive...let me know when and how...thanks

Find someone local who isn't greedy. I pay people 26 cents to haul it away, and I throw in a free bucket.

You need a small sandwich bag at most. The idea is that it grows as it absorbs nutrients

Well, since you live in Illinois, I suspect I can give you a handful if you can pick it up when my wife doesn't mind. No charge, just bring something to transport it in.

very nice, but four hours there and another four back is hard to stomach for a plastic bag full of stuff, i would spend forty dollars in gas alone...thanks for the offer...coming to peoria anytime soon?
