ornamental shrimp safe fish?

I'm going to be stocking my tank with ornamental shrimp and small fish. Its a 75 gallon, and I'm trying to decide what will be safe with the cute shrimp.

FOR SURE I'll be getting harlequin shrimp, and sexy shrimp (with an anemone) a pistol/goby pair, and probably blood shrimp.

I REALLY want to focus on small fish, like gobies. But I'd like ideas. I was thinking of mostly perching type gobies, since they have the smallest mouths.

Any other opinions? Or are some of the shrimp just too small for even gobies, and then turn into expensive snacks?

if its still alive, it will hopefully be fine. If you do not see it, do not try to find it. it may be hiding. just LEAVE it alone

Current Tank Info: starting over! 125 gallon. Soon to be home to Blackfoot clowns, A. nigripes

Harlequin shrimp are very strict eaters they will only eat starfish.

Remember, anything that might fit in a fish's mouth, eventually, will.

Better to post your ideas on specific fish, and we can either tell you they'll be okay or not.

ive heard of pistol shrimp going after small shrimps before (harliquins and anenome shrimp stay kinda small) with my harliquins and fire shrimp i have chromis, a mandarin a clown tang, a striped goby (2 yrs old and tiny) and a pair of clowns.
also the harliquins will probably require a huge pop of asternia or a cc once a month, its really not that bad, i once wasnt able to feed the harliquins for 2 weeks and they still made it through. sorry, off topic a bit

I know the harley's requirements, I'll have a choc. chip tank, in rotation, feeding out legs (ewww, but necessary!) and they should be fed once a week a leg... prepared for that.

Kay, so pistols may not work, I can live with that.

I am looking at strictly gobies-panda, clown, a shrimp goby (which can live without the pistol) think TINY gobies. If it grows more than 2 inches, its off my list. I was thinking of some odd balls, like the 'signal' goby, which needs to be kept in pairs, neon gobies. Tiny ones! I know there are even smaller than that, I want to say the eviota, things like that.

In my opinion a pistol shrimp will be fine in the type of tank you want. The pistol will stay buried in his burrow almost all of the time. The other small shrimp like the sexy and the blood will most likely not go into his hole. I have a pistol and my two sexy shrimp live on a rock just above his hole and I have never had a problem. I am sure there may be minor exceptions but I can't think of any type of goby that stays under 2" that would eat any of your decorative shrimp.
