Help! What To Do With Back Chambers of AP24?

Hey everybody im having some trouble deciding what to do with the back chambers of my new 24g AquaPod. For some reason i was under the impression that there would be three chambers and i was going to use one for a refuge but there is only two. Everybody says to remove the bio balls and one of the sponges as well as the ceramic beads so i plan on doing that. Ive also ordered a MJ 1200 to replace te stock pump. What other mods should be made to the back chambers. Would an in tank refuge still be doable?

thanks in advanced

I have an AP24. In my back compartment, I have my heater, a mesh bag of purigen, the MJ1200 mod, and my top off system. You can either put macro algae and some reef rubble in there, but with the rubble, you might have a hard time cleaning it out because the back area isn't that wide. I'd suggest a hang on fuge, like a converted Aquaclear or something.

you're probably going to want liverock now, before you start to cycle the tank, since the liverock is what is going to *cause* the tank to cycle.
