lighting for both reef aquariums and SAD

My purpose is two fold in setting up a reef aquarium not the least of which is I am fascinated by all the little critters and the "alien" world I can have in my home. I also believe that the lighting helps with seasonal affective disorder. I noticed when I lived in Florida I never had that issue, but being back in Minnesota has brought the winter blues back. Do others find that setting a chair next to a big old well lit aquarium help, and assuming a reef aquarium what kind of lights would be appropriate for both fish and light therapy...?

Very interesting idea... I find taking vitamin D pretty much alleviates SAD, but it isn't as fun as staring at a well lit reef all day.
