Vote on tank builder, ordering soon please help.
Hi all,
I've narrowed my choices to the following two builders (both from Canada). http://www.concepttanks.com/ or http://www.miraclesaquariums.com/ Both give 5 years warranty although mircales will only extend the warranty from 1 yr to 5yr on approved tank stand design. Their pricees are close although miracles is more expensive, but bearable. I would love to go with AGE, but their cost + shipping almost double the price quoted by these two builders. Is the PVC bottom their only advantage? I would imagine overall workmanship are pretty much the same across these builders? If you have dealth with one/both these builders please share your experiences. Also if you have pics of the tank please post. Thanks.!!! |

another to look at is aquarium obsessed. they are a sponsor here on RC. just someone else to consider...we ordered our rimless from them and it should be here shortly. we cant personally comment on the build quality, but i have seen others in person and they look good.

Khoile-
I have a Miracles 120 (48"x24"x24"); it's a "Standard" dimension tank; but I wanted some flexibility in hole placement, eurobracing, glass thickness, etc. I absolutely couldn't be happier! I've now worked with a few Miracles tanks, and can't say anything negative about them. Seams are perfect; edges are great; eurobracing is fantastic. Just a great eperience from start to finish My wife and I are in the design phase of a new home; we're planning a room divider tank and we'll absolutely be going back to Miracles.... -Andy PS: They didn't pay me for this! ![]() |

hehe I wish I could go A.G.E, wonder if they give substantial discount to the poor?
As for Aquarium Obsessed, their price is 100 more compare to to Miracles, but their warrany is only 1 year. I don't feel comfortable considering the other two offer 5x that amount. Is concept tank worth the $400 risk? that is howmuch cheaper they are. That is almost an AC3 + DC8... lol. |
