powerhead placement

where would be good places to put 2 1200 maxi jet and a 900 maxijet in a 50gal sw reef and fish tank?

Well, you probably want to consider the flow tolerances of any of your corals you might have in your reef first and then place your powerheads accordingly. What kind of corals are you keeping/planning to keep in your 50G?

I have found placing a power head a each end of the tank. Aim them at eachother. This will create a great flow.

one in bottom back left/right corner and one in front top right/left and add a rotating hydor to each. or go with Koralia or put a MJ mod to your MJ1200

That's 60+ watts of heat just from the PHs. I would go with Koralias. R
