i was wondering if a lion fish was reef safe?

as far as with actual corals i dont know how they are but they will eat invertebrates so arent very good for a reef system as a whole

Yes they are reef safe but they will also eat any fish or shrimp that will fit into their mouth.

Keeping a lion fish in a reef tank is irrisponsable reef keeping. Lion fish are messy eaters , need room for swimming and eat inverts. Because they say you could doesnt mean you should.This is a case of want it all syndrum. You need to decide want you want , a well care for reef tank or some water quality mess.
