skimmer Questions

I have a coralife 125 skimmer, The past couple days i have tnoticed that it doesn't seem like it is creating any bubbles... While looking a little closer i realised it isn't at all.. It was pulsing(lack of a better term) about evry 5 second the bubbles would stop then start again.. I got in and started playing around to see if there was a clog or anything of the air tubing had creep in it but found nothing and now it isn't even pulsing but the pump itslef is working... Could it just need a new impellar or is it someing a little more difficult like needing a completely new skimmer all together? Let me know what you think
