Gorgonian Info needed

I was considering adding a sea fan to my 75 gal softie tank. I have no experience with these creatures and wondered if anyone could help me out with some basic info on them.

I had very bad luck. There are 2 types.. Photosynthetic, and Non. The Non ones need feeding EVERY day. The photosynthetic ones you dont need to be as strict.

Are the photosynthetic ones any more difficult to keep then something like a clam?
