36g Corner Plans
Ok, so as I brainstorm some ideas I came up with this thought. In my office I would like to put 2-36g corner tanks on opposite ends of the wall. I would then place a 48"x15"x16" refugium inbetween them which they would share. The fuge would be about 27 gallons operation volume.
It looks like there would be about a 5ft (give or take 6") head loss on the returns to get back to the DT's. In order to plan ahead... if I went with a 300g rated overflow box for each 36g corner... what return pumps would I need? Would I use two seperate return pumps (one for each DT)? Or would I use one big return pump and "T" it off??? Let me ask you the same question if I substituted w/ an 800g rated overflow box on each DT. Though I think the 300g would be plenty for the DT's. I am thinking of just starting up 1-36g corner and the refugium for now... but I want everything prepared for when I set the 2nd-36g up. Opinions & suggestions?
