PC's- wattage per gallon?

My MH ballast isn't working, so I'm going to put my PC's back on. I have 2 - 55 w PC's. The tank is only 18 inches deep w/ 5 inch dsb. The lights would be mounted about 6 inches above the water. I have a Derasa clam, various leathers, hammerhead and pipe organ. Will this be enough lighting? Anyone remember the wattage per gallon rule? Thanks!

Put your clams at the top of the tank. 4-5 watts per gallon is a good estimate. Wattage is giving way to lumen output instead to judge lighting. Two bulbs at the same wattage rating can put out different amount of lumens.
